How I Can Help

I help high-achievers, athletes, and business professionals take their goals to the next level while finding high levels of ease, happiness, and personal fulfillment.  I work 1:1 with individuals in my coaching practice to make impactful changes and provide a gold mine of information through my writing, newsletter, and podcast.

As a World Champion Athlete with a Master of Science Degree, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach(NBC-HWC), a Mental Performance Coach, a published writer, and a top-ranked Podcast Host, I have many tools and real-world experience to help you find your best.

THE WORK IS THE REWARD

Our daily actions are the best predictor of our future and identity. The problem is we assign our happiness to our achievements, saying “I’ll be happy when I get/do/become something.” We put our happiness into the future and think that an outcome or a result will finally make us feel good. We believe the outcome is the reward, but pursuing mastery and a core element of wellbeing is doing an activity for the sake of the activity itself. In other words, the work is the reward!  Finding joy and meaning in the process itself is the keyhole to healthy striving. Our mindset, effort, and actions shape who we are and our life experiences.

How do you show up for yourself and find your best?  It starts with mindset. The mindset of high performance is about self-awareness, consistency, values and strengths, resilience, purposeful effort, vulnerability, optimism, and gratitude. It’s committing to hard work and goals but with intention and awareness. The lifestyle of high performance is treating your body well with physical training, mindfulness practice, eating healthy, emotional intelligence, and sleeping. We all know lifestyle habits are essential, but our healthy habits are the first thing to go when we get busy.

Exploring my curiosity has been the key to all of my major accomplishments. From getting my Master’s Degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering to a career in Marketing, to going after and achieving my dreams as a world-class athlete racing in 25+ countries, I love sharing how I did it so you can go after your dreams and goals too! It’s about showing up, picking yourself, and working on your intentions and self-awareness to learn about yourself in the process!

PLANT-BASED DIET

Being a plant-based athlete has helped me recover faster, improved blood flow, and made me stronger! Diet can be so confusing. I changed mine because I was worried about diseases.

There are thousands of peer-reviewed medical and research journals outlining that most of our health issues and can be prevented with a whole-foods, plant-based diet. Lifestyle changes aren’t easy, but changing mine enabled me to win a World Championship, gave me the energy and mental clarity to start my own business, and has contributed to helping me become the best version of myself.

The more plants and plant-based alternatives you can add into your diet, the better you’ll feel. It’s not about being perfect or even labeling how you eat- it’s about making healthy daily choices that compound into thriving health and longevity. One of my roles as a health coach is to help people change their behavior for optimal health.
