A Taste of Germany

By June 28, 2012March 22nd, 2017No Comments

One of the reasons I am trying to do more international stage racing is that it’s a great opportunity to experience other cultures. I was lucky enough on my trip to Germany to see a lot – Ergon in Koblenz, Southern Germany, a bit of Austria, Munich, and Heidelberg. I’d say I sufficiently covered a lot of ground!

I was lucky to have friends in some great places who were great hosts and showed me around where they lived and made sure I tried the right foods and beer!

Here is a quick photo journal.

That’s a wrap for Germany! Thank you to everyone who was involved with my trip. It was really cool getting to go to a race in Europe with a totally different vibe, see parts of the country in both cities and off the beaten path, and spend time with my friends! It was also great to visit Ergon and Canyon in Germany!

I got home on a Tuesday and hustled to get my life back together. I unpacked as fast as I could, got caught up with work, and tried to catch up with friends. When the weekend arrived, I headed to Aspen for the Food and Wine Festival with my wine sponsor, Michael David Winery.
