It’s safe to say that a good time was had by all. Not only was there a large crowd of awesome singletrack loving peeps, but the Oskar Blues Dales Pale Ale and Old Chub beers were flowing like water. You can imagine the mayhem – a bunch of dirtbag mountain bikers and free beer. YES! It was great to see all the items donated for the silent auction, and all the talk about TRAILS and the people who make it happen.
Here are some photos.
Greg Keller and I. Attention hogging goofballs? Yes we are.
There were prizes at each table. I won the coolest socks EVER.
Dave Towle, one of my favorite voices around. He is the voice of cycling… and he rocks!
Kris T of 303 Cycling.
This item from the silent auction was cool.
Well, I was supposed to do a big mountain bike ride today. I am down and out for the count AGAIN. I am not sure what is happening with my body, but it is back to where it was on Tuesday. Hopefully it’s from too much beer and not enough sleep last night. We’ll see how tomorrow goes. I am pretty frustrated and bummed that my body is so up and down. It’ll pass… I just have to be patient.
Have you considered being a spokesperson for a company specializing in mountain bikes? It’s not just because you are attractive, but also your passion for the sport.
Thanks James! That’d be an awesome job… someone just has to hire me… 😉 Ideas? I’d love to hear it.
P.S. I kinda sorta am doing that for Ergon at trade shows and events, they “rent” me.
Hah! I find that I read your blog and Keller’s M&C blog for updates on the Boulder cycling scene and there you are, goofing off together.
haha. EXCELLENT!
