I am taking it easy this week, which is sometimes hard to do when you constantly hunger for singletrack. I got a little taste of the dirt last night. I met Eddie Clark (GREAT photographer!) to do some photos. I had emailed him asking him if he needed anyone to snap some photos of because I’m a ham like that, and he said he needed some pics of someone dressed as a recreation rider on some trails. It was great! We went up to Nederland around 5 or 6 PM and got some great photos. The sun was starting to wane, and the clouds made for some great sun rays.
I also brought some delightful adult beverages.
I did an easy road ride this AM, and it was a great morning.
Who says we don’t grow corn in Colorado? Yummm, I love corn on the cob.
Playing in the street today. I truthfully was hungry to singletrack, but recovery is key right now.
A couple days of taking it easy, and this weekend Ergon (Jeff and myself) will be working at the Rocky Mountain Bicycle Show. See you there!
When we passed through Olathe, CO in August there were about 5 times as many cars there as population. We were told it was for the sweet corn festival. I’ll never say you don’t grow corn in CO.
With all the beer reviews lately you should think about brewing your own! It’s not difficult and very rewarding. Good times are always had when brewing or drinking your own beer. See these guys: http://www.midwestsupplies.com/
