Home for the weekend

While I would have loved to be camping up in the golden aspens this weekend, it’s still been good so far…  I felt well enough to try and ride yesterday.  It was the last day of antibiotics for me so I thought, “Hey, why not ride to Gold Hill?”  I did that ride a lot last winter, so I figured it would be no biggie (although it’s 4000′ of climbing 😉 ).  After having to stop multiple times from feeling nauseated and light-headed(from the anti’s), I decided that I needed to turn around.  We still got to ride for over 2 hours, so that was happy.  My sinus infection is GONE!  Now I’m trying to get back to 100% again, which won’t be long!

EEEE!  Should I be riding yet? 🙂

Then we went to indulge in the Hapa Sushi happy hour.  It’s 6 days a week, and you can get select rolls 2 for 6 bucks.  Salmon Avocado?  You got it.

Mr. Todd (from Ergon) got some free shirts from Ellsworth at Interbike.  I know it doesn’t say Cannondale, but it’s a really funny shirt. 🙂  It’s worth it.  If I was trying to get something for free, I would probably wear this shirt.  Yaaay for humor and breast cancer awareness. 😉

yes. support is good.

Then we enjoyed some Mochas at Laughing Goat.

Now it’s off to Ned to try and ride some singletrack.  I feel like I can make it today. 🙂  WEEE HEEE HEEE HEEE!  My tires have not contacted singletrack in THREE weeks (Winter Park was dirt roads…)  The last time I touched singletrack was 12 Hrs of Snowmass.
