While I would have loved to be camping up in the golden aspens this weekend, it’s still been good so far… I felt well enough to try and ride yesterday. It was the last day of antibiotics for me so I thought, “Hey, why not ride to Gold Hill?” I did that ride a lot last winter, so I figured it would be no biggie (although it’s 4000′ of climbing 😉 ). After having to stop multiple times from feeling nauseated and light-headed(from the anti’s), I decided that I needed to turn around. We still got to ride for over 2 hours, so that was happy. My sinus infection is GONE! Now I’m trying to get back to 100% again, which won’t be long!
EEEE! Should I be riding yet? 🙂
Then we went to indulge in the Hapa Sushi happy hour. It’s 6 days a week, and you can get select rolls 2 for 6 bucks. Salmon Avocado? You got it.
Kerkove says: nom nom nom!
Mr. Todd (from Ergon) got some free shirts from Ellsworth at Interbike. I know it doesn’t say Cannondale, but it’s a really funny shirt. 🙂 It’s worth it. If I was trying to get something for free, I would probably wear this shirt. Yaaay for humor and breast cancer awareness. 😉
Then we enjoyed some Mochas at Laughing Goat.
The th-sun will rise in my mocha.
Now it’s off to Ned to try and ride some singletrack. I feel like I can make it today. 🙂 WEEE HEEE HEEE HEEE! My tires have not contacted singletrack in THREE weeks (Winter Park was dirt roads…) The last time I touched singletrack was 12 Hrs of Snowmass.
Hey Sonya,
That Climb to Gold hill is killer. I did it on my cross bike when I meet you and Jeff and it was not easy with a 36×30 low gear. Be carefull with this cold going around, likes to make a comeback. On another note, I was wondering how many shorts, jerseys do you get from sobe/cannondale for the riding season? you and Jeff always seem to be wearing your kits,
get well,
Brian
omg i want that mocha
Happy to see you are back on the bike. I couldn’t agree with more on that whole support issue. That was just too damn funny!
Congrats for getting back on the bike. That was a looong time off.
Love the Ells shirt. They should sell those!
The mochas look almost too cool to drink. And the T-shirt? Love it! 🙂
that shirt is kerkove approved? too cool! sounds like you guys are livin’ the life out there! 🙂
that t-shirt! hilarious! there’s no way i’d wear something like that but that’s cool that you have the guts to wear it.
I ride an ellsworth nice shirt! haha
