It is Cascade CreamPuff eve. The racer meeting is in about an hour and today is the first day in about a week where I have had a few minutes to relax. Ahhh, that feels nice.

I got to Oakridge yesterday evening and was lucky enough to make friends with some of the guys at LifeCycle in Eugene, OR. One of them actually lives in Oakridge and took me on one of the sweet trails in the area – Flat Creek and Salmon Creek.

This is what I would imagine when I thought “Oregon riding.” The river was HUGE, there was moss on everything, and it is probably the most green I’ve seen in a forest ever. I couldn’t stop admiring the majestic trees…and majestic singletrack. Behold!
