Tomorrow morning is the day! It’ll be about 16 hours to our destination in AR (looonggg drive!). I am bringing homework, music, and my NEW ukulele in the car.
Driving across Kansas and Oklahoma is kind of like endurance racing, you just have to shut your brain off and keep moving forward. 🙂
The major bonus is our NEW team sprinter van!!! We’ll be traveling with lots of room, and in a freshly wrapped vehicle, from Victory Circle Graphics in Golden.
I had a lot of packing to do today. I forget how much work it is to pack for races… you have to bring a lot of stuff, and for endurance races, you have to bring even more stuff!!! Before and after these trips, it looks like a bomb of Ergon green exploded in my room!
oops blurry. You name it… all different kinds of clothing and gloves, tools, nutrition products…
CHECK IT OUT! Green grass. That is the official sign of spring, although there will be more freak snow storms.
Today’s ride was focused on recovery and enjoying the sunshine. 2 hours to be exact. It’s kind of fun to toodle around and not ride uphill sometimes!
Also, our 2010 team gear is arriving this week. Yeah baby!
See you in Arkansas!
You will not miss seeing that van on the highway. Good luck in AK!
Good luck with the road trip and race. It was good to meet you in Seattle.
