Snowtrack

The weather in Albuquerque can be very fickle, but the good thing is that when it snows, it generally melts pretty quickly and it doesn’t get too far below freezing outside.  I woke up to about 3 inches of snow today, although after the past few freezing weeks in Colorado, it seemed like nothing.  Still, it can be hard to motivate to go outside when it’s wet, cold and snowing.  For me, the hardest part is getting out the door.  Once I’m out riding, USUALLY I end up being glad I got out!  Instead of riding wet roads today, I opted for the trail.  Snowbiking is pretty fun, and it was soft and powdery so my normal Continental Mountain Kings worked great!  The day can best be described in photos:

I am pleased to say that I am feeling stronger this year than I did last year at this time, doing similar winter training!  Yoga has also been helping to keep injuries away, and I have noticed a difference in my posture on the bike as well.  Hope everyone has a great holiday!
