JANUARY 2016
Hi there! 2015 was a huge year for my career with my first World Championship win, the first year I managed all of my partnerships and my business, as well as a break out year with my speaking. I spoke at 9 different events including being the first cyclist to do a TED Talk. My efforts and audience reach are not only focused within the bicycle industry, but across many different industries and demographics. I’m excited to continue to make a difference not only with growing our wonderful sport, but also empowering others to do those things they have always wanted to do and live a happier more fulfilled life!My business model last year was successful and I was able to bring a lot of value to my sponsors. Year 2 is going to be even better! I am aligning myself with partners who share my vision of sharing the adventure life, pushing to be your best self, designing and marketing innovative products, and helping others. It’s a great honor and opportunity to continue with a lot of my partners from 2015 as well as start new relationships with some very creative and special businesses!!Here is a comprehensive list of FreakShow DeFeet and Partners. FreakShow is an amazingly juicy Cabernet Sauvignon by Michael David Winery and DeFeet is a leading company in socks and base layers.
I
‘m excited to be riding SCOTT frames as I continue building my career as an ultra endurance specialist. I also will be cross-pollinating in the Enduro category in 2016 with some Enduro Stage Races as well as some single day enduro events.
I’m also quite excited to add other diverse sponsors such as Jaybird bluetooth headphones, Elly Guitar Company, and Wahoo Fitness. DeFeet, Michael David Winery, Topeak, and Kask have been big supporters and I’ve enjoyed helping with product development with the new Kask REX mountain bike helmet (check out our video!).
My first race this year will be Trans Andes Challenge in Chile that starts in less than a week! After that, I’ll be going to New Zealand to defend m yWorld Title in Rotorua. One week later, I’ll line up for my first Enduro Stage Race- the Trans New Zealand Enduro. I’m excited to meet people on the other side of the world and get outside on some dirt!
