Saturday was my last day in the Querque until next month, and I was greeted with the sun after two cloudy days. I wanted to go mountain biking, and didn’t have time to get my rear brake in working order so I took to the road. Precise braking for the type of ride I was doing was not needed. I just did the same ride at Wednesday, sans hail. I was doing more low RPM work and my legs felt great! I love it when I get days like that. I have been sore on and off from the low cadence work, but Saturday was good.
The white-coated Sandias.
There are usually buffalo hanging out along this fence.
And then I was rewarded with some delicious brews from Chama River Brewing Company.
I sipped on the Sleeping Dog Stout.
Then it was time to go back to Boulder after a visit that was like eating the chcolate lava cakes my mom made. Rich, full of flavor, and delightful, yet it’s over too quick.
The climb up Tramway is always great (okay, except when it’s windy out)!
