Yoga has been a huge part of my success on the bike. I used to have tendonitis frequently through the year in my knees from tight IT bands and in my shoulders from being rounded on the bike. Sometimes, it would force me off the bike. I started going to yoga about 5 years ago and it really changed everything.
For one, I no longer suffer from tendonitis injuries. Two, it is a great place of mental acceptance. Three, I got to know my body off the bike in a different way.
